Prowling along the edge of a nature preserve, Panther's Run continually challenges your ability to stay out of the surrounding marshlands or hit over them. The 18-hole layout features rolling, wooded land with rambling streams, ponds, generous landing areas and large greens. The natural contour of the land was used instead of artificial mounding with intricately dug deep grassy bunkers framing the fairways. The wide fairways twist and turn up and down presenting a variety of lies leading up to the undulating fast-paced greens guarded by water and/or sand hazards. The front 9 is indicative of the best Carolina Lowcountry courses & the back 9 evokes memories of the ancient Scottish links. This is no fuzzy little kitten; the Panther's claws can show themselves at any given time.
